Rear deck speaker size

I wanted to add some speakers to my rear deck on my 01 LS since it didn't come equipped and I wanted to know what was the size of the speaker cutout I see in the rear deck.

I put 6X9s in my old 2000.

Ok I was wondering. I was told 6x8 and6x9 so I wasn't sure thanks.

6x8's are for the back door.

if your LS didnt come with the factory sub, then you will also need an amplifier to drive them, as the factory subs (if equipped) come with there own.

if your LS did come with the factory subs, then replacing them with a standard 6x9 wont yield good results, as the signal sent to the factory amp is low freqs only.
