Rear Chrome Trim

I was stopped at the lights today and seen another black LS same as mine but had black trim around the plate instead of chrome like mine. Does ford make this peice or has it been painted. Same as the front grill chrome trim.

Came standard on LSE's. Anyone can paint it to match though.

wait, nevermind. I thought you guys were talking about the license plate surround and grille. You guys are talking about the bumper. Although maybe you could use the same process?

I like how it turned out. I also had them color match the black trim along the bottom of the sides and rear bumper. The good thing is all the plastic that was painted is under waranty by the painter and Dupont. I'll post more pics of the car when it decides to warm up, quit raining, and I can clean the car.

local painter or from a large painting company? getting warranty on a paint job, especially the rear plastic parts is a good deal no matter what. i was told that would easily chip
