On our 2006 LS there is a place on the emergency brake cable where a portion of the side of the cable housing has been rubbed away by the top of a bolt housed in a plastic piece on the driver's side. Has anyone noticed and corrected this situation?
Cover it with fuel hose. Just spilt the hose on one side and slide it over the cable, tie it with some zip ties. That will protect it. Keep an eye on it and if wears out replace with a new piece later. I did this to the stainless steel brake hoses on both my LS and 280ZX and have never had to replace the hose yet.
