Rear Axle Shafts

The rear diff shell looks like the same
but one thing I found is the rear track width of the 2005 jag s type is 60.7Inches, and we all know the knuckles are almost the same and the control arms. The hub might be the same spline count...
the differential side might have more splines tho like the 2000 vs 2003+ LS rear..
Further research tells me the 2000-2005 4.0L jag s types diffs are 28 splines. Not sure about the 4.2.
2000 to 2006 ls have the same hub side spline count so same hubs. so to me a jag s type 4L 2000-2005 axle would fit a 2000 to early 2003 ls
