Rear Air Springs

Which are better, Suncore or Westar? I've seen 2 Westars on Ebay for $116.50 and 2 Suncores for $125.00.

they probably all come from the same place in the end.
the rears air springs are pretty simple. either will get the job done.

I've never heard of aftermarket rear airbags being bad or low quality. It's the fronts that for some reason the aftermarket isn't as quality/reliable as Motorcraft.

The reason the fronts are so critical is that they also contain the strut inside the air bag, where as the rear is the bag alone. The quality of the strut enters into the equation when comparing any other after market units to the original Motorcraft units.

correct. its the lack luster performance of the shocks in the aftermarket bags that is the problem.

ie, a lot of companies just rebagged the air shock and left the original blown/worn shock inside.

so yeah, a lot of them sucked.


the rears of course, don't have this problem.
