like I said, or just invest in a screen on a motor that retracts into your dash at the push of a button... so when you leave it looks nothing more than a cheap POS head unit at first glance from outside, couldn't be more happy with mine

would be nice without the DIN I'll admit, and covering up the controls and vents kind of bothered me at first... but it got to the point where it was kind of cool because the AC cooled the unit off (not that it would overheat in the first place... but it set my mind at ease lol) and it almost looks like it was MEANT to pop out completely flush with the controls IMO

DAMN!! They tore that :q:q:q:q up. My car also got vandalized recently. They broke my driver side window,they took my ipod and my door pillar was bent. They weren't able to take the avicd3 though. It Happened while I was working. Lucky for him/her that I didnt notice or else I would've whooped his ass, no homo.

the thing with that is most thieves won't care and some know about single din flip-ups...its not exactly the latest in headunit technology and you can differentiate between a cheap headunit and a single din flip-up with the screen hidden by the amount that it sticks out. cheap headunits (most dont stick out that much in most cases) look different.

Just want to add car alarms don't work all that well is not for the concrete, but for all the rebar you have to put. The only reason i tell you this because this is what i do for a living. So no matter how good your alarm is in any type of building, your better off to park outside. Your chance are much better and of course people can see your car, for it is in the public eye. Just my opinion sorry about your stereo, and they didn't have to go as far as making a mess like that. Hopefully you got insurance that will take care of that for you. Maybe you will get something better , but ya it sucks to go threw all that. The best deck that was made but didn't have dvd was the Sony Ghost mode one. I had one but it started to malfunction.

believe it or not, thieves do look through the tint, even if it's 5 percent limo tint. Most of them are on drugs anyway so it's not like they kno what the f*ck they're doin. What are you talkin about that i try to hard?

and believe it or not, most people park their cars where these cracked out ass stains of society usually are not.. and if they are, park it in a setup where they can actually see some idiot looking through their tint... and believe it or not there is a such thing as a CCW... and once that tint gets shattered with a blunt object that could be used as a weapon it's fair game

appreciate everyone trying to sell me their stuff, but insurance is going to pay for my stereo and damaged interior to be returned like it was before. Replacing everything with new parts. Thanks though!
