2000 LS 74,XXX mi, 7000k HID, Sport rims(not sport model) with new tires, all maintence done at dealership, great condition, All Eclipse audio(HU CD5000,4ch amp,new speakers all around, DVD player, 7" screen in rear, 5.6 up front, and the cream on top is the Best Ford ESP warrantee good for another 2years or 20,000 miles. Dark gray w/tint and black leather.
Any help is great!

Used LS's are taking a huge hit right now. With them damn near giving away new ones, you can't expect much for a used one.

my inlaws just bought a brand new one with 0 miles on it (well, probably low tens of miles) for 33k with the sport package (no navigation, no heated seats).

I bought a 2002 (V6)for 11k with 27k on the odometer about 6 months ago.

I could see a private value of 10 to 12, trade in is probably around 8 to 10.

I'd agree with this, although the dealer may stiff you and give you a trade-in figure in the 6-7 range.

Your car is a V8, correct?

I dont know why people post on here asking "Whats my car worth"? Our opinions mean zero when you go to trade it in. That same car with have various values depending on what state/region you live in. Next, all the add ons you have wont really increase its trade in value. A dealer doesnt care what type of this and that you have, if anything it might lower its value. You have three options you can check and they all ask for your zip code for the reason stated above. Check Kelley Blue Book, NADA used car, Black Book used car. All three will have different values, but it will give you a range that you can expect. And of course if your trading in at a dealership then expect even lower.

I figured this was a LS forums so why not ask LS owners what they would be willing to pay. I realize there are many ways to find the value of your car but I would rather get an enthusists opinion.

Ok, fair enough. Using the methods i just described i'd pay $9000 for your LS. Thats using my zip code and my area's value. Yours maybe lower, might be higher. Whether your an enthusiast or not, someone isnt going to pay more than whats its value is. Look at it this way, lets say i buy it from you and 5 minutes later a truck runs into me and totals the car. What is the insurance gonna give me for it? I'm not gonna buy a car knowing its gonna be a loss. Also alot of modifications wont increase the value in the insurance co's eyes or a dealership. So hopefully any normal person would research its value and future resale and use those to come up with a price. $9000.

9000k is what i got too -- try to push it or even try to sell it yourself and see if you can get more for it - try put it in on ebay with a buy it now option peaple may just give you what u want for it

You could by a completely loaded brand new 06 LS8 here for under 30K. The sticker was well over 40K. Like I said...giving them away.
