Real ticked- Anyone want to sell their Ansa tips?

I finally got around to trying to order the Ansa Silverline TK7845 tips that a couple of guys on here found since they were a alternative to the Magnaflow tips of the same design. I'm pretty particular about things like that.

Anyway Octane Supply says they are sold out and that Ansa isn't making them anymore (although they are still listed on Ansa' website). The thing that sucks is their Ebay auction that ended 8 days ago claimed they had 10 available. I could have had a pair for like $40.00 vs the comparable Magnaflow tips for like $160.00 a pair. Does anyone have a set they want to part with or am I out of luck? :(
 
Oh well. Just find some other ones. I wanted those too dammit. I was going to get them jet-hot coated.
 
I guess the difference in price is my main concern. I wanted to have mufflers and tips for under $200.00, and could have with those. Spending double or triple on the same exact style tips just isn't possible right now.
 
Right. I'm just wondering if there is a similar tip that isn't made by magnaflow.
 
Yeah, I actually contacted Ansa this morning and just got their reply. Basically I'm (we) are out of luck. Octane was the only seller of that tip and Ansa has quit making it.

I checked out the Vibrant tips, they seem nice, but if I spend 60-80 plus shipping on them I wonder if I should just go with the Magnaflow if i can get them on Ebay?

I don't know-this just throws a big wrench in my plans, GRRRRR!
 
I say buy what you will be the most happy with. YOu don't want to do it twice if you don't have to.
 
i got the 4 inch long ones....dont really make too much of a difference since they are covered by the bumper...unless ur sticking em out..
 
These are 2.25, can't remember the length, it was either 7" or 8" with 4" outlet and angled to inner wall or whatever... is that what you wanted? Was near $40 with shipping I think on Ebay

Yea I was gunna get those too, but just decided it was a one time deal and just got the magnaflows. They look pretty close, though the ANSA ones look a little on a thin side compared to the magnaflow.

I ran into this problem with ebay when I ordered my clutch kit for my car. Luckily I found another supplier and told them to varify they had ACTUAL PHYSICAL stock of the clutch kit in question before I would buy and they did so I lucked out.

Yes Silver LS those are the style I am looking for, what kind are they? Did you get the Ansas while they were still available?

And JoshMcMadMac I was checking out those tips on your car, they might be my best option so far.
 
No they weren't Lincoln Luebbe, not sure on they were some not known brand I'm sure.

This is the exact tip I used.

I'm either going to get those (50.00) or the Vibrants (60.00) Josh suggested. The warranty is better on the Vibrants, but other than rust what can go wrong with an exhaust tip?
