RE: LS V8 Gas Millage?

My '02 LS V8 with only 27k on it has only been averaging 16.5 city/Hwy combined and my city driving is very minimal. This just seems unreasonable to me.

Also, when backing out of the driveway, I've been noticing a buck when I shift into gear (auto 5 speed) from reverse. Is this normal? THe trany also has the select shift feature.

by buck do u mean it jumps, i had that problem and got my car reprogrammed at the lm dealer and its all good now

My 02 V8 also does that. I esp notice it when coming in and out of park. I guess that I also need a reprogram.

Yes, that exactly what I mean. It's still under warrentee so I'll have them take care if that. I appreciate the input.
