The door on my rattles when I am driving and I roll over rough surfaces. I took the door panel apart and looked inside, and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone experienced anything similar? It si driving me crazy.

My drivers door just started doing the same crap, not all the time. Sounds like something is loose, rattling against the skin........ haven't pulled it apart yet.

Has anyone done the Latex mod?

"What is this latex mod he speaks of? It sounds intriguing!" you say?

Well. The Superduty bunch has been duing it for years. What we do/did, is run 3/8" OD latex (some prever that clear vynil tubing) through the door weatherstripping. Wind noise is all but eliminated, and the doors close with a positive "Thunk!".

I've been thinking of doing the mod on my Mark as well, even though I don't have any rattles. But the door does sound a bit clanky when you close it. Yes, it's been adjusted.

I wonder if that will help with your guys' rattle ailments.

Wow... with the title "Rattling Passenger" I thought he had a snake in the other seat or something.

I bought a junk mark that would make some god aful clunk when you open and closed the passenger door, this wasn't the wrecked side either. When I was taking the interior out I pulled that door panel off. Down in the door a peice of something that belonged the the door handle assembly was floating around in the door. I had been moving all around in the door.

Nothin' on my Mark but my Stang had this awful sounding clunk everynow and again. I finally traced it to the outer skin had become loose from the inner "I-Beam" and would knocka against it. I used some silicone all around the I-Beam to secure it, it has ben 2 years not one sound since.
