a well set up tune can out shift you anyway.

Ratchet shifters are awesome. Can be a pain in the ass in a daily driven car, but definitely makes driving an auto a lot more fun. Shift when you want and go through a few gears, or just leave it in drive. I have one in my 95 mustang. Ratchet shifters don't make the car shift any quicker unless you have a shift kit and or manual valve body btw.
