Hello on my 95 MarkVIII the range button only works when it wants to. I can hit all the buttons on the info center and they all work but the range button. At times if I hit fuel then range it may work. But when I hit system check it will show how many miles I have left. Is there a certain way I have to hit to make the range button work? I don't have an owners manual thanks

Button is probably not working right. You could try taking it apart and cleaning the contacts, but new button assemblies can be had for about $25. If you go that route, PM me.

thanks for the answer. thats not good that its not working right. I would only try to fix the button if the whole info center wasnt working

Well if you feel up to it, all you do it pull up gently on the leading edge of the assembly. Once it pops up you pull forward a bit and disconnect the two connectors. From there its out and you can take a closer look at it.

This is also an easy way to get to head unit connections and such.

I did that to mine, I tryed to clean it a few time's, with in a year it only worked 1 of 100 times so I just got another one for ten bucks out of a yard. works great now.
