So I was wondering if anyone can answer the burning question.

When painting the interior, what the hell did you do with all the button? did you take em off or tape them...Id like to do this soon and need to know the best approach.

well it depends on how you want to do it, its far easier to tape every thing, but taking the time to completely dissemble everything will look better

Dont tape, itll look like ass, do it right once, and youll be much happier with the results. prep is key as well, avoid sand scratches at all costs, fixing them you could cause low spots.

How do you disassemble it is my question? Do I need to pop each button out individually or do they all come off as one unit separate from the face plate
