Radiator time

Just had my radiator changed yesterday. A small leak that I notices few days ago. A 3.5 hour job. The AC lines came off and the hydraulic fans too. Big job.

Paid $300 for the labor including the thermostate. The Radiator bought separately.

First time that had problem with the original Radiator. Got close to 178000 miles on it.

Just hope the tech remounted the fan shroud with the correct length cap screws. It is easy to use one of the longer trim bolts associated with the job if careless. A capscrew that is too long will go through the mounting boss and punch a hole in your nice new radiator! You can probably check these (2 total, one on each side of the shroud at the top) with your inspection mirror.
