Raced a BMW 540

It was a 2001-2002 model BMW 540i auto. I raced it from 0-80mph and he couldn't pass me. I must admit that once I reached 80 I slowed down and he flew by me. I am sure if we went further he would probably pass me. BMW has 4.4 V8 282HP 5-speed tranny.
This is the only time I ever raced my 98 LSC and I must say it felt good. I did not loose and my opponent was a good one. How I wish I had a 6-speed auto tranny.

I had a similar race (540i) back when I had my 94 with the same results.

I raced a 335i once... I lost by a pretty sizable amount

however, I once beat a 3 liter Z3 from 60.. by a lot

Good show. How do you know it was an 01-02? They were near identical from 98-03 with the only changes being nav deck, headliner and steering wheel.

Headlights are different along with minor bumper changes. Also 2001-up BMW used Vanos system on their 4.4 V8.
