installed my front rotors(e line,slotted+ cross drilled) and ceramic pads from R-1 concepts on sat, they stop great much better than stock but are loud as @#$%,They sound kind of like a tire driving over a rumble strip VRrrrrrr.I sent them an email this morning and awaiting their response,but I think it will be a lesson learned, you get what you pay for!!

Awwww s*it! I just orderd the same brake kit plus hid kit from them friday! Hope mine doesn't do that!

Ive had hat kit for 6 months no no issues at all. Plus I have installed plenty with no issues over the past year.

I just installed my 2nd set, no problems with either one. Did you install something wrong? Mine are super quiet and no dusting either. Love them. No worries Omen.

I've heard from a few people that they can make some noise more than a solid rotor... but nothing crazy or annoying.

Never heard anything about noises from rotors unless they were bad.

what can you possably do wrong and have the car still stop perfectly straight from any speed?

I have used those a few times and have never had the issues you speak of. Might want to check the installation.

I had these on my sho taurus a few years ago and had no problems now that I think back! I had so many cars in the past 16 years.....damm I forget sometimes!

R1 concepts was the best money I have ever spent on brakes. My dad tried out some other brand on his Grand Maquis, even tho I suggested r1 concepts, and he got burned big time. 3 sets of rotors to get the correct ones, and they are only average stopping power.

Did you install the rotors on the wrong sides?

The slots going the wrong angle?

they are directional so that makes sense

I spoke with r-1 tech. support this morning ,No left or Right rotors .they said its the zinc plating that makes the noise and will quite down some but with drilled and slotted perfomance rotors it will not be completly silent.Its not so loud I cant live with it now and when they quite down some more I will be realy happy,the car realy stops much better than stock!! and when the time comes for the rears I will buy from them again, great cutomer service and support,the price is right along with free shipping!!

It's so bizzare, mine make no noise at all under any braking conditions.
