can u post some pics of the BMW side mirrors with the custom LED lights? i havent seen that on an LS either..

THanks in advance...

All Lincoln LS's have this.

An Almost Perfectly Balanced Vehicle
Weight in the right places. With near 50/50 front-to-rear weight distribution, Lincoln LS handles exceptionally well on the road. In sudden high-speed braking situations, anti-lift geometry in the rear of the vehicle actually pulls Lincoln LS down toward the road.

Since I auto-cross - a local club member has a set of scales he let me use at the beginning of last year. I pulled out everything from the car I could, then used a bunch of Howe Spring rubbers to adjust on the car (a very little). It actually come in at 12lbs difference in cross-weight which I can adjust with simply the amount of gas in the tank.

thanks, yeah, i already knew that the weight distribution is 49/51 for the v6 and 48/52 for the v8

Quik you seriously have the greatest LS I have ever seen. I might have to swing up to Austin here in a couple of months so I can witness the car first hand (Im in Corpus).

great pics man!

i see them now.. before they stopped at the new hood vents.. atleast at my house and at work..

no worries - I added them after you asked.

I did post pics of my pedals, the actual mounting of the laptop, ...etc

let me know if you want to see those.

Here is a pic.

It's docked into a docking station - which is bolted to the backside of the rear seat. This is all hidden by the rear sub-box.

wut xactly do u use the computer 4? i dont quite c the purpose...unless its 4 show then i understand completely. am i missin sumthin?

data logging. this way he can make adjustments to his Xcal2

Quik:

Question, doesnt the subs slow the car down? I know you race the car so I was thinking this would effect the performance in a negative way

it would certainly - but I pull it for race weekend. It fit tight in the car but can be pulled out as one unit - and the 4gauge wiring simply comes apart using a quick disconnect.

a couple of things.....

the laptop is connected to a PIE adapter - so I play WMAs/MP#s through it into the stereo.

I have:
- the AutoEnginuity's ScanTool connected to it for real time display of the various engine sensor and datalogging. It can perform many, many tests and readings.
- PASS software to download my G-Tech Pro Competition to. It displays 1/4 miles times, HP, Toruqe graphs.....
- software for my Innovate's LogWorks datalogging for the wideband O2 sensor installed
- SCT's LiveLink to bridge the XCal2 and the wideband into a single datalog file

It connects to my home network (so I can pulll down new playlist off the media server)

I also have a Cellular Modem in it - so it has internet / e-mail access. I have a blue tooth wireless mouse/pointer for it and on-screen keyboard.

I am also thinking about adding MS STreets & Trips with GPS......

along wit the weight of the CPU and TV and etc.. he prolly jus takes it out.. seems easy enough.. sure u dont race much to care when u take out all that stuff
