In the near future i plan on doing a cobra intake swap on my gen 1. i have all the parts but the fuel rail. I will be deleting the EGR system so my question is with the EGR delete can i use my gen one fuel rails?

Let me guess you found the pic I made?

I'd stick with Cobra rails btw... and good job on keeping egr!

LOL that was my bad KK type O i was like WTF is he talking about. but to make it clear i WILL be deleting the EGR.

And for fast mark, i will try to make a tutorial but no guarantees. i never get around to making them and taking pics i also wanted to do a write up on my trans swap but was to lazy. o well maybe i will get around to it!

I would quite appreciate it, I know a guy who is selling a cobra intake and I am considering on purchasing it, and would like to see how difficult it may be.

GEN 1 rails wont work. The regulator will sit under the throttle body and crossover lines wont fit they're designed to sit between the runners. GEN2 rails will work however you need to remove your egr.
