I have a 2003 and am not completely sure about the earlier 2000-2002 models. Look at the middle buckle and you will find a small 1/8" hole in the upper buckle assembly. The middle buckle is a bit different than either side, so take a look. Push a drill bit or wire in this hole and it will release the middle seat belt. This will allow the folding rear seats to lay flat and no middle belt in the way of cargo!
