Quick question gasket related

I have a buddy in a Audio forum that has a 2005LS..He has a leak in his upper manifold and was told by the dealership that they don't sell the gasket seperate,that he has to buy the whole manifold..Is this true thatthey don't sell a gasket seperately??

they don't sell ball-joints separately so why not. but i do know rock auto has just the gaskets for the V8

On the V8 there is a front a rear and the 2 lowers. The upper is attached to what might look like 2 short lowers that are included and attached to the upper. they look like IMRC but thay are not. Those gaskets if there are any are part of the assembly. The complete intake would be a 4H2Z-9424-AE listing for 653.47 and LVC would be $509.70 plus shipping ...and you get the lower gaskets with the intake.
