Did a search, searched around the settings, couldn't find anything. Is there any way to turn off the profanity filter? I find it VERY annoying

WTF is the profanity filter? Is that similar to the cabin filter...doesn't allow curse words into the Linc?

Seriously stopsign - I have no idea what you're talking about...but like 2002 lincolnlLS said, if you are talking about the website filter, and you actually type out curse words, most are edited...

Those words corrode your mind... youll be a much better person this way :q:q:q:q stick

Oh Sh!t!
Sh!tstorm is the German english word of the year- no sh!t:p:D

It's not just adults that read this..........

Excessive profanity is just a lack of vocabulary.

Honestly this profanity filter isnt that bad. I was banned from a forum that had a profanity filter and if you tripped the filter (as in your post would look like "Holy **** man!") your post would be deleted by a moderator and you would receive an infraction. Crazy overzealous.

I like the :q:q:q:qing sign guy

I definitely understand what ya guys mean, and I don't swear too much, but I dont know, I guess I just see it as unnecessary. I tend to be against censoring of any sort. I dont think we should ever have censoring forced on us if we don't want it. I'm not about to start some stupid first amendment thing or anything here haha, but it's just sort of one of the principles I believe in. I would just appreciate the choice :)

And my choice not to have to read it. I guess I could just not come here again, but then I (or anyone else of the same mindset) won't be able to help when I can.
