My 95 (non jbl) only has 1 thing(assuming its the factory amp) on the trunk tray. I'm planning on installing an aftermarket headunit and am curious which wiring harness to get. I need to know first off if the base model 95 marks had amps? No upper door tweets and no jbl. Thanks

all mark VIII's had amps, some had the jbl system, some were premium ford 4 speaker non jbl systems, but both have amps, the jbl amp was more powerful and longer, but the non jbl marks still have a small amp in the package tray, just a cheesy boosted crappy ford system, the jbl stuff actually sounds dam good for factory stuff back in that time frame.

Thats the site my friend gets all his stuff off of. I wasn't sure between the 5510 5511 5514. Cool. So this plugs in line, I wire headunit, plug in bypass harness and remove the factory amp? Thanks

IIRC, 1 harness bypasses the factory amp, the other uses it.

i just went and used a normal ford wire harness wired in my radio to that then run rca for my own amps. and everything works perfect all you really need is the black red yellow wires. and orange if your deck supports dimming features.

Yup that harness bypasses the fact. amp and gives you a pigtail to hook to the replacement head unit and plug into the car's harness
