Questions my front brakes are performing after the brake job

I just changed out my front brakes for some Rotorpros slotted and drilled rotors and some Posi-Quiet pads. It stops great!!! I made sure and did my research on how to do front brakes and so far no speaking or noticeable issues. Except, I’ve noticed sometimes when I brake from over 40+ my steering wheel vibrates. Under 40 there’s no problem a majority of the time and the times it doesn’t vibrate from 40+ it has me scratching my head? Why doesn’t it do it all of the time if not none of the time? I have a set of 18’s with the hub-centric rings and triple check that I put everything in back together and that there was no rubbing when I spun the rotor after I put the brake caliper back on just before I put the wheel back on.
I am lost as to what the problem could be???

Lastly about to tackle my rear brakes. I have a caliper compression tool, OEM 27111, and am just wondering when I have the rear in the air I don’t need the parking brake on correct? I’ve only done front brakes in the past and it’s been years even so. I just want to make sure I have all the tips I need for doing the rear brakes with then having that self-adjusting mechanism.:shifty:

It's not unusual that even brand new rotors could be slightly uneven. Where were they made?

Wedge the front wheels, car in neutral, jack it up, do your thing.

you'd have a hell of a time pulling the calipers off with the parking brake on, I did my girlfriends back drums and she put the parking brake on and I didn't know. I was like why the hell wont these drums come off.

No, you don't need the parking brake on.

No and honestly, it seems to be less noticeable once I’ve been driving for a little while. Still happens but maybe not as often though.

Additionally, I had my alignment done within the past couple of months as well.
