is the factory exhaust piping 2 1/2 inches? i like the way these mufflers sound and i might try them out with a res. delete.

No. It is 2¼" to the resonators, then 2" on back.

Make sure you mount both of them at an awkward angle so that they point like all the Eclipseseseses and Civics with fart can looking mufflers.

They dont sound bad on a v8's, not an ls, but just an idea of sound they can get.

I say try them, as long as they fit good and not like the civic or imports have them sticking out that looks like crap. If not, what about trying muffler delete with aeroturbine resonators only.

I would like to hear ls'es with different exhaust set ups. Like basani's with slp resonators, or LJ's mufflers, or corsa mufflers, or just magnapacks.
