Anyone know someone that can say bend piping or make an aluminum pipe for my CAI that i made in my V6. I made one using some stuff i found at homedepot and it works great, gets the job done. It just looks kinda :q:q:q:qty when you open the hood and see the piping. I live here in Knoxville, Tn and ive asked everywhere around here and not really any place. Thanks

actually now that I think of it. 3" is harder to bend. I dont know what size your maf is, but if you need 3" piping, you may have a more difficult time finding a place that can bend it. For some reason 2.5 seems to be the cut off for the machine before it goes from expensive to ridiculous.

Just thought about it but how about a place that bends say roll cages for cars.... Wonder if they could?

again it depends on the diameter of the piping. Some machines will only handle up to a certain diameter.

I do like the kit though because its already chrome and looks good and you can get a set on ebay for 55.00 buy it now with 20 bucks shipping... Comes with more than what i need. Its probably better just to get it all in one package. Maybe a few bucks more but not worth all the trouble really to me. I have a homemade one in my car right now that i made form home depot that cost me 20 bucks and i had a k&n filter but it just looks sloppy with the rubber and all

Did you use PVC or something? The white plastic would be hilarious to see under a hood.

If you can find a place that does roll cages chances are they do other performance stuff also.

Look for speed shops/performance shops. I had mine made for under 100$ and would have had it to me within the day but I got hung up and got it the next morning.

Its not like some other intakes that look like habitrails for hamster and mice. Its probably the most basic design I have ever seen so the cost is low.

One tube does it all and a few very small ones for the vacuum lines.

I really like that ebay kit. That would work pretty well I think. One would have to get the bung holes cut into it for the vacuum piping though. Not sure how that hack would look on the chromed piping.
