I have a 94 mark viii during the day time my alarm will not go off at all (good)
but when ever its getting dark or is dark i cant even run away from my car without going off? Any ideas please let me know i have to leave my car unlocked every night and it sucks

try unhooking the hood switch its worked for me on several chrysler minivans. just thought maybe

So you also have a mystery Anti-Theft alarm.. LOL...

I've tried to set mine off... nothing.. then going into the car early morning... Beep Beep Beep.... Good thing it hasn't happened for a while...

it could be A TON of different things.. all the switches mentioned above.. plus sometimes water gets to the alarm unit in the trunk..so check to see if thats wrapped in plastic..

mine turned out to be the ignition..i would shut off the car..not realizing that the ignition wasnt totally in the off position..even though the key came out.. and when i would lock the car.. 20 seconds later.... HONK HONK HONK

i just had to make sure the "key in ignition " chime wasnt going off when i got out of the car.. i would just wiggle the ignition til the chime stopped then i was OK

good luck... hopefully its something easy

No.............

Im still thinking it's the "Flux Capacitor"

It's more than likely the valve stem caps. As with all things Lincoln, it will be the thing on the car that has absolutely nothing to do with the system that is causing the issue. That is why whenever my gas guage reads empty, I check the air pressure in the tires first.
