Question- Plug on trans bell housing

Question, I had the Mark in the air tonight and noticed my transmission looks to be missing some kind of plug, cap on the bell housing. There is a round hole at the bottom of the bell housing.... Should there be a cap on it? Is this some kind of inspection cover? I know the car had a recent trans service per the paperwork.... Torque converter drain? Always better to do the work yourself. No losing parts. The car may eat the tools, but no losing parts...

just a access point find a plastic cap at ACE Hardware and pop it in. jd

Its the hole to drain the torque converter.

The plug is available from the dealer and not stupidly expensive, around $7. Part number is E9TZ-7N171-A.

Thanks!!!! Yep that's the hole. I'm guessing the shop actually drained the tc when they did the service. My fluid looks red on the stick...

I ordered the cover from the local Stealership today.
