[question] Anti-theft system & hid conversion Kit

Hi, All Happy New year!.

I've been installed the Kensun HID conversion kit in my mark viii 1977. But, It often shuts down electronic systems when I'm turn on the headlight at night. then, I found out that it is related to Anti-theft system since I didn't installed the relay. Is it possible to do disable anti-theft system anyway? or i'd better install the relay?.

If you have the relay why not install it to check? If not, I would pull the fuse for the anti-theft to confirm that is causing the issue.
I have heard of others having issue with aftermarket HID's, but not having issues with the HID's and the anti-theft.More the "autolamp" system not turning on the headlights automatically. Best to buy the kit on this forum as it has been tested and is 100% plug and play.
