Question about the select shift option!

I have a 2001 Lincoln LS V8 with the standard auto shifter. I would like to switch to the select shift, if at all possible. Can some one tell me if it is just a bolt on or is ther any other electronics that will need to be added. Also will the TCM need reflashed?

By the way I am new to the site but have been snooping around for a while. We just purchased the LS and I see what every one is bragging about. What a car..

Just need the gear selector and get your pcm reflashed.
