Will an IAC cause car to shut off in reverse and
hesitation when u floor the gas petal and also jerking like when u floor and feel like the transsmission slipping. The car drive fine as long as I don't go above 3000 rpm.

Also if my tranny is bad I'm looking for somwhere I can get one for a good price imma get a used because I need it asap I have to drop the car off in Cali and in Oklahoma. Cheapest I found was 795+ 80 to ship 1 year warranty I got a 2000 v8 LS so it's the 5r55n.

yes

when the IAC starts to go bad or is gummed up, you will be able to start the car but it will cut out, leaving you to start it again and again. One way to test it is to start the car with you foot half way down the the gas pedal. If it starts and keeps running, then your IAC is suspect. Take it off clean it real good, try again.
