First off I would like to say Hi to everyone as I am new here. I used to drive a mark viii back in 05 and ended up crashing it and have wanted one ever since. Well I finally just found one and I will be driving down to NC to get it next week. I cant wait im so excited..My question is after I crashed my 97 I kept a bunch of parts off it then junked it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to bench test an HID bulb with out a ballast? Can it be done? If so please share your info with me. I have a set thats been in the garage now for 4 years and I would like to test them as the car I bought has one bad one. I know I could wait and test it when the car gets here but if these dont work from sitting or something then I would like to buy a new bulb and have it here for when the car gets here rather then waiting. Any help would be great! Thanks!
