Hey

I was wondering if the Mustang Cobra 17" wheels would fit on a 1998 Mark VIII... Anybody know or have pics with them on a Mark?
I think they would look great!
thanks

They do not, they have a different bolt pattern. You can change hubs/brakes, so Mustang wheels fit, but it's expensive. There are many here that have done it, and many that have mustang style rims in our bolt pattern..........do some searching on this site (and the other Mark VIII sites), there are plenty of pics.

The Mustang style wheels I really want, 1995 style 17-inch Painted Cobra R's are only available from 1-vendor, and they're very expensive.

i have those but they are the mark viii bolt pattern, bought 4 used with tires for 400 turns out 3 of 4 are bent, i am going to buy 2 new ones but thecustomwheelshop.com seems to not have them right now?

Those are not Cobra wheels. Those are a cheap knock off "Bullitt" style wheel.

Gman... didnt pull the trigger but close to it... just doing some research on wheels....seems to be alot of mustang guys in my area selling wheels...figured I'd see if some of the nicer ones would fit on a Mark... I really like the 98 CE's and there is that one nearby i showed you in a different post, then there is this 98 black on black with no roof close by too... both are nice...just waiting a bit more to see if anything else pops up...as much as I would like to pull the trigger on the CE there seem to be a few issues with it and the price is too high with them, if he would come down maybe I would, but the black one has no problems, gas and go! lol
anyway, the cobra wheels on the car in the post above are real nice!

Thanks but those are not Cobra wheels. They are Saleen Speedstar replicas with the Mark pattern.
