Quad exhaust tips for Gen2 V8

Hello LVCers, once again I am consulting your vast expertise on a matter that I am sure has been discussed to death, but due to my inability to get any pertinent results out of the search feature I am dragging it up again.

Quad exhaust tips:

Are there any that fit in the stock Gen 2 V8 cutouts comfortably? I've seen the magnaflows but they are hideously overpriced for what they are. Anyone with some nice quad tips on their Gen 2 v8?

Since the cut outs in the bumper on a Gen 2 are round it would look best to have 1 big tip per cut out. I think 2 tips per cut out will look bad.

Nope havent seen them on a gen II...i personally think round 4" tips look best.

I have 3.5" but would prefer 4".

But on topic I just went out and check the cutouts and it does indeed look like quad tips would be a bit out of place with the round cutouts.

You could potentially modify the existing cutouts.

Black, bought the tips off of T Money's car. Are those 3.5? Never actually measured them and not at the house currently. You can see pics of them on his part out thread.

Hmm, I do have a dremel and a jigsaw and there is a nifty little tutorial on doing cutouts for a first gen... I'll have to read it over and see how daring I feel... :shifty:
