I had a super coupe with self leveling air ride. Has anyone used the air shocks from the t-bird to replace the rear shocks after conversions? What about the QA1 adjustables? I did a search and nothing was found. Maybe I'll have to try one of these?

most use either 96-97 bird rear shocks, or cobra blistiens (sp?) i dont think the supercoupes ever had air ride, i think your referring to the adjustable dampening shocks, and with out everything to control them they would be useless

Yeah, the SC's never had air bags or air shocks. They had the adjustable firmness setting just as the 87-88 turbo coupes did. They did not level the car.

Air shocks ride and handle like poop.... unless you know how to drive....

One nice thing about air ride is the leveling which can be manipulated. When we get snow I put it in 4X4, but when I want to ride low and the streets are clean I can drop it. You can not do that with coil. I love seen these lowered cars up here get hung up in just a few inches of snow :)

No, air shocks - not air springs - ride and handle like poop. I've had them on a 78 Regal I had. Any amount of air in them while going over bumps and the entire rear of the car would hop off the ground.
