I'd like to put together a system which would include 2 12" subs an amp and a box. I don't know much about this stuff but this is what I narrowed down so any help would be great.

I'm looking at these subs:

and these amps:

Now couple questions I have are, which set up is the best? secondly what's the difference between 4 ohm and 2 ohm subs? Both subs and amps match up to the 400 rms requirement but I'm not sure which would be the best match. Any help would be great thanks in advance!

go with as low of ohms as you can but have it match the sub specs. also you might want to consider different amps. i know with my set ups when running sub's is that if your amp doesnt have a cooling fan it will overheat alot and you listen to the music about half the time you in the car. check out www.sonicelectronics.com, www.mycarjams.com, and www.mmxpress.com. i also use the site you listed but never hurts to keep your options open. but my advice would be to go with something under 1000watts rms for both subs so yyou dont have to worry about a cap or expensive battery. just make sure the amp matches your subs on ohms. watts can vary but dont do too much. keep it within 100 if you can. and get an amp with a fan. some people may have better luck with it but i know that amps get hot quick
