Pullies

Never done it on the Mark, however i have removed alt pullies on big trucks.

What i used to do is take alt off, clamp it by the pulley in a vice with soft jaws, put breaker bar with socket attached on nut and give the breaker bar several short, sharp blows with a big hammer to shock the pulley nut loose. Worked everytime.

Impact is the way to go on this. I've heard of people using a belt wrench to hold the pulley in place... I tried that but I'm not superman so I couldn't get it working that way.

if you didn't take the belt off yet and put the main pulley on I would say use an impact gun on it when the belt under tension just to break it loose then tighten it a little and remove the belt and pulley, what under drive Pulley setup did you get? let me know how it works out, I wanted to get one for my car but not really sure of it yet.. Good Luck
