I wanted to publicly thank My Great 8.

He saw me post in a thread about some seats for my 96lsc that the guy never bothered to respond back to. he sent me a message said he had a couple of seats and offered em up. Not only did i get more then i was expecting from this deal. but the price was for me to hard to say no to just because of how difficult it was in trying to track down a front seat that wasnt busted.

Not only did this guy bring them all the way across florida from ft lauderdale to the west coast. but he also included the back seat as well. basicallly everything i needed to replace the drivers the passangers and the backs. I was really just expecting the drivers and passanger seat for the amount we agreed upon.

So again thank you for taking the time to reach out to me. offer me a great deal and bring them 3 hours over to my side of the state. even if you were already heading out this way its still a huge cool thing to do.



This is not the first time a member of this forum has helped me out and i am very thankful to have found this forum and the people that contribute to it. a big thanks goes out to the community as well.
 
+1 I concur my great 8 is an outstanding member, he's helped many of us! And he's a Great Friend too. Always willing to help somebody out.
 
ur just lucky they didnt rip you off like they did to me. A member here and a good friend of mines recommended them to me b/c I was looking for a Mark 8 to buy. So I went to Rich's My Great 8's house to take a look at the car that you see here on my sig pic. According to them the car was all original with 64,000 ORIGINAL miles, and the asking price was 4,000. So what did I do? I bought it b/c I couldnt pass up the offer of owning another Mark VIII with such low miles. They delivered it to my house like they always do with the parts and cars that they sell. Well the next day I knew something was wrong b/c when I opened the hood I saw a 98 engine and not a 97 It had 98 coil covers. I did my research and thanks to another member on here that sent me this pic all my thinking came to an end. God knows how many miles are on the engine they put into my car. Theres more to the story but im at work and I dont want to think about this anymore. But all I gotta tell you folks is to be carefull with My Great 8 and whickedwhiteVIII. Elliot my whickedwhiteVIII is probably going to cry now about the 125 dollars that I owe him and if he expect his :q:q:q:qing money back I expect atleast 2 grand back for what I paid for this piece of :q:q:q:q car they sold me.

i can personally lay down the red carpet for mygreat8.he has come to the side of the road for me at 1 am., drove me places when my car was down.ive met his family and wife.he has been a GOOD friend to me since ive met him. Elliot has people that do work for him that suck. period.Not all his fault. he even ate the labor on a job for me. i wish he could help me now with stripping the car, but havent heard. rich i will consider my friend, a close friend he's been to me even though ive only known him for not even a year he has done more for me than members of my own family.
 
The picture was taken at what used to be Jamies shop. They took the car to Jamie to get an engine and transmission put into the car. Something happened inbetween them and Jamie refused to do the job and they had to pick up the car from Jamies. So thanks to Jamie I found out what I didnt want to know about my Mark VIII.
 
Marvin, Jamie did not do the work on the car because he closed his shop. He never refused to do the work. Your friend knew all about the car the whole time. I never said the car was original. I told you to take it to a mechanic to check it out. You have had so many problems with it because you beat the death out of it. The first thing you did with it was back out of my driveway and floor it all over my neighborhood. The engine and trans shifted perfectly before you decided to drive it like it was a race car. If it's such a piece of junk, why are you so proud of it? You have very nice pics of it on your signature. That car is still worth $4000 any day of the week. The paint is original and it is rust free. Also, it's not THEM. My name is Rich, his name is Elliott. Two different people that share the same interests. Much like you and Alex. Once again Marvin, get your facts straight before saying things that arent true. As for Trip, I'm glad I could help out.
 
I wouldnt had bought the car if it wasnt original and not for 4 grand....I remember asking you if the car was original and you nodding your head and saying yes, you both run the buisness together and thats why I refered to you douche bags as them. This is all I have to say and I will not mention anything else if the thread is closed thats good with me. I just dont want anybody else to get ripped off. Everything else you mentioned has nothing to do with you ripping me off...you guys are a bunch of scammers....and should be :q:q:q:qing banned out of this website. You dont play around with people's money and especially not with how the economy is right now. The car was not worth 4 grand...more like 2 grand, you :q:q:q:qing piece of :q:q:q:q. Right on the Mark where is the VIN number on the engine? I think its by the oil sender unit am I correct?
 
Once again Marvin, get your story straight. I do not run a business. I buy Marks when I can and hunt down parts in junkyards. That's it. I have a full time job. What I do with the Marks is called a HOBBY. You know where the VIN number is. You asked about it a few months ago. Douche bag.....are we in high school?? Really?? Now go outside and figure out how to replace a license plate light!

Your command of the english language is amazing!! You can't even convey a thought without cursing! And BTW, there is no such word in the english language as "mines". Did you figure that license plate light out yet?? I would have been embarassed to start a thread like that. I'm such a scammer that your friend bought a car from me. From what I remember, he was happy with it. I am such a douche bag that I GAVE him new door panels,a complete moonroof assy, headliner, and power window switch caps. I did this for FREE because he was my friend. Elliott got you your stupid fuel pump for cost and got the labor cut rate. He even gave you his car to use with a full tank of gas for FREE. What did you do in return.....give it back dirty and an empty fuel tank. Then, screw him out of $125.00. And you call Elliott and I douche bags??

You cannot please everyone all the time. Let me tell you about another car I sold to a member, Hankeyman420. I sent him pics of the car and we agreed on a price. I let him know that the compressor was acting crazy. Kustomizingkid flew from Minnesota to Ft. Lauderdale to drive the car back. He made it back without incident. However, they couldn't get the compressor to work either. I sold this car about 2 years ago and to my knowledge, he is loving it. The difference is he drives it like a gentleman.

cobra u have the white lsc with the black interior right? so y are u crying over a car that when i was interested ... honestly stop bitching and crying u have a mark viii that most people would give both nutts and a hand for honestly u wanna switch ill drive u my mark and we can do title for title my car needs a hood. its all orginal 119k and yet ur complainging? seriously stop crying and be proud of what u have

Chris buddy stay out of it dude you didnt get scammed out of 4 grand...put yourself in my shoes. Make believe you bought this car and then somebody sends you pics of it with an open hood and no drive train in it.

1. I am not over inflating my self worth, I am merely defending myself from your ignorant rampage.
2. Low level of intelligence? You cannot figure out how to replace a license plate bulb.

how about this if u feel that u were screwed out of 4k and u wanna bash someone on lvc for it .. how long have u had the car? seriously no bull:q:q:q:q and have u done any mods to the car yet? ill trade u my mark title for title my cars work 3k

1. I have a strong command of the english language. That doesn't make me a teacher.
2. I was never in sales at Best Buy...not Best Buys.
3. I repair appliances for Best Buy. Something that requires talent, skill, and a strong command of the english language...I do not drive around Miami all day, something that requires no skill and no talent.
4. From my success at Best Buy, I am about to purchase my second home...don't you still live with Mommy & Daddy?

I can keep this up all night...having a great time! hahaha
