PS warning light?

Has anyone ever had this one come on? It's a steering wheel with an exclamation point above it. It's on the upper right or left side of the cluster. I stole the bulb out of it for my engine light. The engine light burned out, and I stole the PS light. The bulbs list for $7.50 ea, but my dealer didn't have any in stock. I've never seen a ps warning light and am curious as to what sets it off?

I'd put money the OM has an explanation.

From the OM (pg 12):

Steering column lock (if equipped): Illuminates when the steering column is locked. If the light stays on the vehicle will not
start, make sure the key is the correct key, refer to Securilock
in the Locks and Security chapter.
