Well it looks like someone tried to break into my car. The drivers side window is :q:q:q:qed. They didnt break the window but now it barely rolls up and down. I am thinking it might be off the track. Has anyone ever had to put the window back on track? if so do you have any directions?

thanks

my window had a problem goin up and down slow.. i rolled it down and placed my hand above it... when i rolled it up i applied pressure to see if the actuator was "pushing" the window up.. the window gave weigh and fell down.. it seems that the actuator or something along those lines broke... so i had to replace them.. i had lambo doors so nobody wanted to touch it.. for a regular.. its prolly a 100 job at a window specialist.. something along those lines.. dont know if that is of any help.. but it could be that

i figure u can test to see what is the problem like that.. but i dont think u want the window down.. i suggest taking it to a window place to check it out.. it wont cost much.. they can tell u the cost before they actually do work.. or take apart the door panel and take a look at it urself

good point.. that window has nothing to do with someone stealing the car.. if they tried to push the window down it would have never worked.. besides..i believe i posted a comment on how to "steal" an LS.. its easy.. :)

j'k

the window trim was bent up, the window is pressed a little forward, the window wont close all the way, and it is running really slow.

hmm.. i heard about a way of breakin into the lincoln by breakin off the window trim and pullin up on something.. maybe this joker didnt know what he was doing.. regardless.. it needs to be fixed.. my friends car passenger handle got drilled not too long ago.. if i were u.. i would take that to a professional

Are your windows power??? If so, it could be the regulator. If you have an ABC Auto store with repair bay, they will put in a new regulator for 30.00 bucks. You have to purchase the part from the dealership, but it is worth it. They sell them on eBay too.... watch the shipping gougers.

it could be a regulator but I still have to get the trim put back and the window put back into place. :q:q:q:qing people :q:q:q:qing with my mafia car

I wish I could have caught that kid I would have stomped him

I feel your pain... Not to worry... INSURANCE companies are excellent at a time like this... Especially State Farm
