problem with moms mark

when the headlights come on its just the running lights no headlights all the others work gauges tail and markers. even if you turn on the brigts now if you pull back on the bright switch and hold it there they come on. but in auto mode and manually turning the switch to on they wont work does this sound like a headlight switch issue.she says its hard to drive while you hold it back, so i guess its time i try to fix it and note the fuses are all good

Now then. Sounds like the multifunction switch and/or wiring is out. That's the "bright switch", for you folk in MI.

Sounds like the switch... but the power also runs through the multi function switch... junk design imo...

The headlight sw on the dash is discontinued but I found some and retails 77.36, LVC is 67.38, the multifunction sw is 97.96 and cost you 57.30.
