problem (paint/kit)

my '01 LS has a body kit on the sides and its starting to fall off. The glue is coming off of the actual car and a screw or two has popped out.

whats the easiest way to go about fixing this?

also the paint is scratched on the side as well, how should i go about repainting it?

how deep is the scratch? if you drag your finger nail over does it catch the scratch?

Take off the side skirt and check the screw holes to make sure vibration after the screw came loose did not increase the diameter of the hole. Then clean the mounting side of the skirt with alcohol pads very good and apply some 3m double sided tape. After that put the skirt back on and put the screw back in if you don't need a bigger screw but anchor it with a screw anchor so the screw does not come loose again.


If it does then the double sided tape will hold it anyway. This is why I told someone,... that double sided tape is and should be used. Trust me it holds and it does not pay to go with cheap tape either, get the good stuff!
