Hello I'm replacing the power steering pressure hose teflon gasket. Does anyone know the correct size I need because the size that I purchased from Advance AutoParts does not fit. The package(Dorman - Power Steering Sealing Washer Assortment Part No. 82540)had 2 gaskets one small and one large and neither worked for me. Also, can you tell me where because i searched O'reilly and Autozone and they didn't carry it. Will the dealership have these in stock? Thanx.

The dealership should have that in stock. Just call their parts department, make sure you have your vin # ready so they can look it up.

FYI, a lot of those "assortment" kits are useless, at least for this car. I went with some ungodly 30-something piece A/C gasket kit when I replaced my condensor core...not one worked. Had to go to the dealer which wasn't too costly - $6 bucks or something for two sets.

Just give them a call, if they have to order it from another dealer it doesn't take long at all.

When you do get the gasket, be careful and not crack or tear it. It's a harder material than you might think, but you do NOT want to have to take that hose off more than once on this car.

If you don't have a flare wrench kit or crows foot sockets for your ratchet, better get some.
