I was driving home... no check engine lights or anything... all I did was give a little gas through the light... after that I lost power steering... checked the fluids... it's full... though I noticed that the coolant overflow was overflowing... maybe they filled it too full when it was cold?... but yeah any ideas what could cause this?... also the brakes kinda feel weird... not sure if it's the same thing... could the power steering pump be out?... thanks again guys!

Ditto on the belt, and check the belt tensioner - it may have seized up. Your getting hot and no power steering, both systems depend on the belt.

Funny you say that... I was gonna change the tensioner and idler pullies cause they they've been squealing quite a bit... I don't think it's the belt cause it looks almost new... I'll check those out... it was kinda scarey cruisin down the road and everything felt all crazy!... thanks!!

So how hard are the tensioner and Idler pulleys to change?... I know there's not much to them but how do you move the tensioner?... is there springs?... don't want to watch them shoot out all over... never had to fix something like this?... thanks again

Well one thats not broke comes right off. I suppose if something broke it could spring off :) But they just bolt on, pretty straight forward really. Should be no problem at all!
