Noob here with a quick question. I have been lurking here long enough to use the SEARCH function first, but did not find what I was looking for.
Normally I do all my own work on my cars, but for reasons I won't go into at this time, I took my car to have the power steering pressure hose replaced. When I got the car back, I noticed the line was no longer held in with the original factory clips and screws, but instead it was held in with plastic zip-ties. My question is, are the original clips removable and re-usable, or did they have no choice but to zip-tie them.
Must say, I was not happy to see it done this way, especially since they screwed up other things and had my car for three weeks. That's what I get for not doing it myself....
If anyone could let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
