Any one care to comment on if the power steering pump seals fail or some kind of "O" ring fails. I have oil running down and dripping off PS Hose. Is there any leak stop one can put in it that is any good?

Lucas makes a power steering stop leak, but I cant recommend it. It is very thick, and it didnt do me any good.

If the fluid is dripping from a line, I would suspect the line, not a seal. If the front seal is leaking, it would drip on the pully which would sling it all around in a line under the hood, or it would get on the belt.

usually (on most FoMoCo products) the line will rust, and/or the compression fitting (where the rubber hose connects to the steel line theres a crimped steel band) try cleaning all of it off (brake kleen is your friend) lay under the car and have someone else start the car, and see where its leaking from

when i took my mark for a test drive as soon as i pulled out the line blew, not a prefab line i had to drop the rack and make it. Every fitting you can get to double check and tighten. Check real good as tight as these cars are you dont wanna assume

hey , ive had this account for a while , dont go on here much but, im having lots of trouble trying to find those 3 inch steel lines that come off the rack. (the one that swivels).
PLEASEE HELP THANKSSS!
