OK, now what. the power drivers seat has not worked since I bought the car 3 months ago...at first no big deal but now its becoming a pain in the ass.

I've checked the power distribution box and the fuses are good, the power lumbar works but I have no movement front to back, up or down or any reclining......so where to go from here?

Thanks in advance all.

Obvious, but is the switch plugged-in?

i wish it were that simple.......yes the switch is plugged in

Do you hear any whirring at all? If not I would check the motors. Another obvious area; is the motor plugged in? You'll have to dig under the seat for that check.

just checked all that stuff out, had the seat out, cleaned everything, plugged it all back it.......I don't hear clicking or humming at all.......i'm hoping the switch itself may be bad.......I'm gonna see if I can switch out the pass side to the drivers side to see if I get any motion.

That would be a first step. Hopefully it's the switch and not the motor. As the seat neither raises/lowers and recline is in-op, I would guess the switch.

I don't know if the gen I is the same as the gen II (when it comes to the power seats), but it is probably at least similar. The driver's seat switches don't connect to the motors, instead they go to an electronic module that controls the seat motors.

Here's the gen II troubleshooting for the seat, I don't know how much might apply to you.
