Power Inverter Question

Hey guys, I'm thinking about wiring up a 750W Power Inverter to my car, and need a little help.

Would it be better to wire the inverter to the battery cables, or the alternator cables? I imagine the battery cables have got to be a heavy enough gauge to wire it up in back, that would make things much easier, as I'll mount it right in the spare tire compartment and hide any wires.

Battery cables and a FUSE IS A MUST!!. Always wire from the battery cables, not the alt...

At battery would be better AND easier. Just make sure you fuse it as close to the battery as possible (ie 1-2 inches from the terminals).

Quik has an inverter in his car that he put in. check with him.
