Power door lock won't work

My driver door lock doesn't work. Everything works manually (pushing the lock and turning the key) but no power function works (keyless or button on the door). All the other doors function normally. You can hear a slight noise inside the door like it knows it needs to do something but nothings happening. Please help.

If it's making a noise like it is trying to actuate, I would pull the door apart and inspect for any bent or broken connectors or linkages. I've seen a few posts on removing door panels in here, do a search and you should turn up instructions if needed. Also use the time with the door panel off to properly clean out all of the old dirty grease and relube all the window and lock mechanisims.

If nothing appears bent or broken, I'd advise contacting Maxx at 5StarFord at the top of the banner ads to the right of this screen, tell him you are a LVC member and get a good discount. He'll hook you up with a new lock actuator.
