I have a 95 Mark8 and this morning when I went to start it it didn't start as fast as it normally would. But that usually happens in cold weather today it was 35 deg. So this evening I went to the market no problems I go to leave and it wouldn't start. it cranked then died. So I read the battery its 11.6 I got the jump start it went on then i reread the battery and it was 13.6 It should be 14.2 The odd thing is never had a battery light on or anything. Plus the Alternator is only a few months old. Thanks all.

Ya, sounds like connection issues for the voltage to move around that much. Oh, but if its not a Ford rebuilt alt, then it could be that too.
