Possibly another LS down

I got in a wreck Wednesday

Long story short, I was turning left at a light, I had a green arrow, someone ran a red light, hit the person in the left hand-left turn lane who then hit me in the right hand left turn lane...nothing too serious for me. I am perfectly okay but the LS on the other hand is not. The brunt of the damage is in the driver side rear quarter panel, but it cracked the bumper pretty good and messed up the rear wheel on the driver side. It is angled with the top in toward the frame and pointed slightly out. Very undrivable. No word for sure if insurance is going to repair it or total it, but based on what I have heard here, I am betting on totaling it. Thankfully I was able to walk away. I will try to post some pics later if you guys would like to see it. I dont have any of the car pre-accident however. I will keep you all posted on what happens. Thanks LVC, you guys are the best

Glad you're alright, even if they do total the LS, I would buy it back and you can part it out and make some good money and buy another LS!!

parting it out can be a pain in the ass and you'll have to have room for the car to sit around while you wait for it to sell (if it does...), i would just take the insurance money and buy another car, maybe an LS if you want back in that game!

Yeah I wouldn't have room for it to sit. I live in an apartment. I would love to keep it, and I would consider another LS, but we will see what insurance does for me

That sucks but sounds like the LS did its job and kept you safe. Hopefully you'll get a good payout for it and can get a nice replacement ride.
